MDB designs and manufactures equipment and machines for maintenance of tube bundles and heat exchangers in the petrochemical industry involved in crude oil refining. Apart from tube bundle extractors we also produce tube bundle transporting systems, tube bundle cleaning robot systems, internal cleaning robot for tube bundles, shell side cleaning robot with high pressure water-jetting system.

The MD-020 is used in the petrochemical plants to transport tube bundles from the extraction area to the wash area where the tube bundles are cleaned of all the accumulated tar with the cleaning robots. The MD-020 machine is equipped with an hydraulic clamp which clasps onto the tube bundle during transportation and can pick up tube bundles up to 1300mm in diameter.

The tube bundle cleaning robots also are very important as they are immediately put into operation to clean the tube bundles both inside and outside after they have been extracted.

The Internal Cleaning Robot, Mod. RII, is used in the petrochemical plants to clean tube bundles internally; extremely efficient; less shutdown time is necessary and increases production. The cleaning robot is operated and controlled by an operator in a safety cabin and has a series of movements that make it simple to clean the tube bundles.

The external water-jetting robot Mod. RIE is used to clean the shell side of the tube bundles in petrochemical plants. It is extremely efficient and, in combination with the internal water-jetting robot model RII, it reduces the shutdown time while increasing production. The cleaning robot is operated and controlled by an operator in a safety cabin and has a series of movements that make it simple to clean the tube bundles.
