Green Climber North America and MDB at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG tradeshow

MDB Srl had an opportunity to support our distributor, Green Climber North America team during the CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas from March 14 – March 18. The trade show dates to 1909 when the first CONEXPO was held in Columbus, OH and the first CON/AGG was held in 1928 in Detroit, MI. In 1996, the two tradeshows merged in Las Vegas and has gone on to become the western hemisphere's largest show for the construction and construction materials industries held every three years.

This was a great occasion to deepen our relationship with Marty Halm and the rest of the Green Climber North America team. The show was the first one since the 2020 show that was cut one-day short due to COVID-19 and there was a feeling of pent-up demand for visitors who have been wanting to network in person. Several existing and future dealer meetings were held along with end user customer discussions on how the Green Climber product line can solve customer issues.

The stand featured the remote-controlled Green Climber product line, including the new LV 600 PRO and the LV 800 PRO with extendable undercarriage which provides additional sealing and overall strength by replacing the rectangular cross section frame with a circular cross section frame. For the LV 600 PRO, the trans-lateral movement of the accessory head has been upgraded to the same reach as the LV 800 PRO. Now each machine will have a 500mm hydraulic and 500mm mechanical range, which allows for work to be carried out on the sides of the machine, outside the footprint of the vehicle.

Finally, in keeping with the core value of design elegance, the hoods have been reshaped to have that same aesthetic flair that the rest of the Green Climber line has. This design allows for better heat dissipation to help keep the engine at optimal temperatures.

The stand also featured the F23 grass and weed bidirectional mower, which is now available in an EPA version compliant with USA regulations. The stand was rounded out by the EPA versions of the F 300 PRO and LV 300 PRO. MDB accessories were also on display featuring the TE 130 grass and weed cutting head, the TF 150 forestry cutting head, the FTR 400 Stump Grinder and the Forestry Kit Protections system.

Overall, the trade show succeeded in building and strengthening relationships in the North American business through discussions with existing and prospective dealers, as well as end users looking to solve specific use cases in sloped and extreme conditions.
